Chateau de Campuget

Chateau de Campuget

THE STORY
OF THE DALLE FAMILY

three generations at work

For 300 years, the Maigre Lugol family built Campuget, bringing this estate into the world of wine.

During the Second World War, in northern France, Bernard Dalle was wounded by a bullet. Doctors advised him to leave Wervicq, near Lille, and seek a drier climate in the south. He abandoned the family businesses in beer and textiles.

The Northerner came to Campuget, in Manduel, an estate which he acquired with his brother-in-law, Jacques Delassus, in 1941, for a story in the world of wine which he continued in 1981 with his brother François Dalle.   A world that the Dalle family would never leave to this day, with the desire to make Campuget an essential reference for wines from the Rhône Valley.

The choice of quality is intrinsic to the wines of Campuget, to express the richness of its unique terroir, in harmony with nature and with respect for the environment.

Today, the Dalle family story continues for its third generation, with Franck-Lin and Mathilde, who are leading the lands of Campuget towards excellence, while remaining rooted in tradition, experimentation and creations that further strengthen our identity.
